Begun in 1985, the cooperative program between Ohio University and Hong Kong Baptist University was the first overseas university degree program in Hong Kong. Students in Hong Kong have the opportunity to earn selected two- or four-year Ohio University degrees by taking onsite classes taught by Hong Kong Baptist or Ohio University faculty; they also have the option of enrolling in distance learning courses through Independent and Distance Learning Programs, attending Ohio University for a summer term, or attending full-time for one or more terms.
