From Cincinnati - Follow OH-32 E from Cincinnati to Athens. After US-33 E joins US-50 W in Athens, take Exit 17, for OH-682 N. Turn right at the first traffic light, onto Richland Avenue, to cross the Hocking River and enter the Ohio University campus.
From Cleveland/Northeast Ohio - Two routes are possible. Take I-71 S to Columbus, where it intersects with I-70, and take I-70 E to US-33 E, which will take you to Athens. Or follow I-77 S to Marietta, then take OH-7 S to US-50 W. At US-50Wt in Athens, take Exit 17, for OH-682 N. Turn right at the first traffic light, onto Richland Avenue, to cross the Hocking River and enter the Ohio University campus.
From Columbus/Port Columbus Airport - As you leave the airport, get onto I-270 S. Exit at US-33 E and follow to Athens. After US-33 E joins US-50 W in Athens, take Exit 17, for OH-682 N. Turn right at the first traffic light, onto Richland Avenue, to cross the Hocking River and enter the Ohio University campus.
From Detroit/Toledo - Follow 1-75 S to OH-15. Travel south on OH-15 to US-23 S, which intersects with I-270 just north of Columbus. Take I-270 E to I-71 S, then take I-70 Et. Take the exit for US-33 E. After US-33 E joins US-50 W in Athens, take Exit 17, for OH-682 N. Turn right at the first traffic light, onto Richland Avenue, to cross the Hocking River and enter the Ohio University campus.
