Graduate Program
Master's of Leadership in Education Administration

The Master's of Leadership in Educational Administration Program was developed specifically for the working professional in educational organizations and offers participants the opportunity to complete the program in two years. Over the two-year period of the program, participants work through seven projects in a combination of Internet-based collaboration and three in-person sessions held on the campus of Ohio University in Athens, Ohio.

A primary goal of the MLEA program is to enhance the knowledge, skills, and perspectives of current and aspiring educational leaders. Many, but not all, of the participants in the program are individuals who are currently employed in or desire to pursue employment in finance, business, technology, and related departments of school districts and other governmental agencies. Participants include school business officials and treasurers who work in our public school systems, the MRDD, and others throughout public institutes.

The state, in conjunction with OASBO, has determined that there are additional knowledge and skills that are required for the positions of school business officials and treasurers in our state. OU is committed to providing a feasible program for these working professionals.

The Ohio University Master's of Leadership in Educational Administration Program will provide you with an excellent opportunity to enhance your career while maintaining your working schedule.
